Froggys for BOYS & GIRLS!

Time for the little guy to graduate from mom and dad's room, to his own...except, he has to share this room with his older sister. How can we combine this little guys new pad with sis?

I started by finding a theme that was not gender specific. FROGS! So, for color, we needed something with some green in it. I found a bedding set at target for sister, that had green, brown, and blue polka dots. Pretty easy to find a neutral brown crib set to match.

For an easy way to use 2 colors in a room, without a chair rail or accent wall, use ribbon to divide the color as done here...I use thumb tacks to hold the ribbon up. If you look, there are actually thumbtacks with some style at the stores! You can go all kinds of crazy!

Beach Bathroom

This client wanted to incorporate a guest bathroom, with her kids' bathroom, but didn't want to break the bank. We did a quick paint job and added a fresh shower curtain, decorative towels, and a couple shadow boxes...Gets the job done! A bathroom lift for around $200 including decor, paint, and labor! Awesome...

Bachelor Bedroom

Well, not too often do I get male clients that want to fix up their pads! This guy isn't going to stay single too long after his bedroom transformation! I found this bedding at Macy's and the lamps are from JCPenney. We also order the nightstands from Overstock.com.

The stripe job ended up being a bit grueling! But, no pain, no gain, right? I think it makes the whole room.

New Clients in the Area

Moving my business from Austin to Seattle has been quite an experience! The time has flown by so fast, in May I would have been here for a solid year. Luckily, I have been so busy with work and family, that I rarely have time to post new jobs. I will be hopefully getting some of that done when I have some "down time".

For now, I thought I would open a forum for recent "Seattle clients" to post their experience with me. Word of mouth is my most important advertising tool. Hope for potential "newbies", you will find this helpful.

Movie Theatre

In trying to get caught up with some blogging, I thought I would post some pics of the movie theatre we did in our house. The before pic is that of the people that lived here before we bought the home...They had it set up for the same purpose, but once you add paint, things can become quite different. Amazing what color can do to distinguish a room!
